The Service Unit ("SU") used here is equivalent to one "core-hour" on the average processor (CPU) on the BU Shared Computing Cluster (SCC). The total is determined by combining time spent on both processor (CPU) and graphical processing unit (GPU) resources, each scaled by the relative performance of the resource used.
Note that the SU calculation used here is for presentation purposes and is distinct from that used in the BU SCC accounting system for project allocations and to measure project usage.
